Ethics
Publication Ethics
This is the boundary we work inside. It is not marketing language — it is what we will and will not do, and we would rather lose work than cross it.
Editorial decisions are not ours to make
Acceptance, rejection, revision requests and publication timelines are decided by journal editors and peer reviewers. We prepare, assess and advise. We never promise an outcome, and we never suggest that a decision can be arranged.
What we refuse
- Guaranteed acceptance or publication of any kind
- Paid placement in journals, or brokering pay-to-publish arrangements
- Contacting editors or reviewers to influence a decision
- Authorship for sale, gift authorship or ghost authorship
- Citation manipulation or coercive citation
- Fabricated, manipulated or ghost-written peer review
- Data fabrication, falsification or image manipulation
- Submitting the same manuscript to multiple venues at once
How journal matching works
Recommendations are built from published aims and scope, accepted article types, audience, indexing status and stated turnaround information. Every shortlist comes with the reasoning behind each option. No commercial relationship, referral arrangement or fee influences ranking, and the final choice of venue is always yours.
Predatory and low-integrity venues
We flag venues that show common warning signs — unrealistic timelines, unclear peer review, hidden fees, misleading indexing claims — and we will say so plainly, including when a venue you are considering worries us.
Your voice, your work
Support with reviewer responses and submission materials is meant to make your reasoning clearer, not to replace it. You remain the author, you approve everything that is submitted, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your research.
Honest advice, including no
If a manuscript is not ready, or if you do not need paid support yet, we will tell you. Turning work away is part of the standard, not an exception to it.
Raising a concern
If you believe anything we have done falls short of this policy, contact us through the contact form. Concerns about research integrity are taken seriously and reviewed by our team.
